South African side Free State Stars have confirmed that Ghana goalkeeper Daniel Agyei has arrived at the club with a view of penning a deal with the club.

Agyei has been identified as a replacement for Zambian netminder Kennedy Mweene, who has since joined Mamelodi Sundowns.

Agyei played for Liberty Professionals in the Ghanaian Premier League and is a Ghana international.

According to a Soccer-Laduma source close to Stars, Agyei is in the Free State to conclude a deal with the club, with indications that Ea Lla Koto are offering a three-year contract.

?There?s a guy who we have been reading about in the papers for some time. His name is Agyei from Ghana. He has arrived. The coaches haven?t said anything on whether he will be the first choice or what. I think they will decide.

?We?ll see if he can offer what we can?t. He will have to adjust quickly and maybe he will get a chance to play,? said the source.

Agyei will be the second Ghanaian goalkeeper to secure a PSL move during the current transfer window, should the deal be concluded.

Agyei?s countryman, Fatau Dauda, has signed with Orlando Pirates from Ashanti Gold SC in the Ghanaian Premier League.

He will become the second Ghanaian to play for the club if he seals the deal today.
