Fred Crentsil is set to quit as Hearts CEO

Fred Crentsil will step down as the Chief Executive of Hearts when his contract expires on October 4.

The former Sekondi Hasaacas Director whose two-year mandate runs out early next month, has opted to give way to another person to run the affairs of the club.

The experienced football administrator wants to concentrate  fully on his new job as the vice president of the Ghana Football Association.

Crentsil came under intense pressure to quit his post prematurely after the Phobians ended last season without a silverware.

Those pushing for his exit argue he has done little to enhance the club?s brand.

His inability to land a headline and supporting sponsors to rival that of sworn rivals Asante Kotoko has been labeled as an unpardonable failure by section of the club fans.

He incurred the wrath of some supporters when he claimed he was begged into taken up the job when it became vacant.
