Four suspected carjackers have been arrested by the Greater Accra regional police command and will soon be arraigned before the law court.

The suspects, Emmanuel Adu Gyamfi Boakye, 28, Emmanuel Osei, 29, Issac Anim, 30 and Xorxouwu Pavis, 33, were arrested at Pokuase and Mile 7 all in Accra.

The Deputy Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP Christian Tetteh Yohuno said, ?For about two months now the type of cars they normally snatch are Toyota Hilux, Toyota Highlanders and Prado.?

According to him, three other suspects namely Nana Sei alias Sakora, Yaw Sarpong and Eric Agyei are on the run.

He said, it is now easier for people to acquire car tracking devices, that are just small devices that can be fixed in cars and “when you fix this car tracking device it will help you to trace the movement of the vehicle or cease the vehicle in a short distance when the vehicle is snatched from you.?
