Madu Ready For His First Season In Turkey

Former Enugu Rangers defender, Chibuzor Madu says he is ready for his first season in Europe with his new club in the Turkish second division, Kahramanmasspor. 

Madu who moved to Turkey last month from the Enugu side impressed officials of the club and was promptly signed on for the new season which starts next weekend. 

He said that he has trained very well and is ready to make his mark with the team and help in making sure they gain promotion to the elite division at the end of the season. 

“I am ready for my first season as a professional footballer. I have waited for this time and I thank God that the opportunity has come for me to show the stuff I am made of”

“The Nigeria Premier League has toughened me for what I am getting into right now. And I want to say that we may have challenges with our League back home in Nigeria, the players can fit into any league in the world with little adjustments”

“Next week, the new season will start and our first game will be against Bucaspor on the 18th of this month and everything is set for me to start playing on a very good note”

?I know it will not be easy because it is my first time in core European League, but I am confident that I will fit into the system to make my mark and contribute my quota to help Kahramanmasspor gain promotion at the end of the season,? Madu sounded off. 

He moved from Shooting Stars to spend two seasons with the Flying Antelopes.
