South African music legend, Hugh Masekela headlined the Kasapreko African Legends Night at the State Banquet Hall with fun and excitement on Saturday, September 22.  He thrilled guests with his impressive repertoire of songs and performed other classic African hits that got patrons dancing throughout the night. Among the guests that couldn?t hold back from dancing were former President Jerry John Rawlings and wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, and the CEO of UT Bank, Prince Kofi Amoabeng.

Also on performing in Ghana for the first was Namibian singer and Big Brother Stargame housemate, Lady May. Ghanaian highlife veteran Ben Brako, saxophonist Steve Bedi and budding singer Yaayaa formerly known as Bertha were among the performers that built up the excitement before Hugh Masekela mounted the stage. There was also a performance by Australia-based musician, Zoh Zoh.

The night which was hosted by Ghanaian satirist, Kweku Sintim-Misa (KSM) closed with a show stopping group performance by all artists on the night. YFM?s DJ Blow hosted a after party into the early hours of the morning, playing classic oldies from the 70s ? 90s.
