Nana Ayiso Donyinah, Krontihene of Forikrom in the Techiman Municipality has appealed for the opening of a Police Post in the community to reduce crime wave in the area.
Nana Ayiso made the appeal when Mr John Kofi Donyinah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Techiman visited the place to introduce himself to the chiefs and people and to know their socio-economic challenges and identify ways of addressing them.

Nana Ayiso mentioned lack of potable water, streetlights, market square and poor road network as some of the community’s pressing and immediate socio-economic needs and expressed the hope that the Municipal Assembly would include them in its short-term developmental plan to bring relief to the community.

Mr Donyina advised parents and guardians to see the education of their children and wards as the best investment to enable them to acquire employable skills and become professionals and assets.
He gave the assurance that the Assembly would make an effort to respond appropriately to their request and asked them to support the government to achieve its vision for the development of the country.
