First-year law student Adomayakpo Cornelia Dedevi has won the coveted Miss-Togo 2017 crown, at the national final of beauty competition.

Aged 21 with a height of 1.75, the 55 kg young lady came first among 22 contestants at the final of the 23rd edition of the national beauty pageant, here in the capital Lome.

The competition started in the night of Saturday and closed shortly after midnight at Congress Hall.

Adomayakpo Cornelia Dedevi is taking over Miss-Togo 2016, D’Almeida Kokoe Mawubedzro Balbina.

Besides the tiara, Cornelia Dedevi will be granted a Nissan vehicle valued at 14 million Cfa francs (about 25,454 US dollars) and a cash award of 5 million Cfa francs.

During her one-year term, she will also have a financial package of 125 million Cfa francs for social project, will be dressed by Uniwas and will have stays in other African countries and in Europe. Enditem
