Ghana has moved one place up to the 35th position ahead of Ivory Coast to become Africa’s second best side in the latest ranking released by FIFA on Thursday.

Ghana were 36th in last month’s ranking and they moved up one step to occupy the 35th position in the global ranking with Ivory Coast dropping to 36th place.

Both countries did not play any match in July during the assessment.

Algeria is placed 32nd in the world and still leads the Africa contingent with Senegal, Egypt maintaining their 4th and 5th positions respectively in the top five on the continent.
