Ghana on Friday 30th March 2012 witnessed the first ever well plotted fante and English movie Kweiba at the national theater in a color display of the rich culture of Ghana.

The event which took off on time as promoted in the commercials had the presence of lots of Queen mothers, industry players, great musicians, movie lovers and Fans of She.

Starting the premier was the multihued light displayed on the stage, which then followed by some great performances from some great musicians, like Kwabena Kwabena, D-flex, Nhyiraba Kojo, Akoo Nana, and then came the moment everybody has been waiting for, SHE.

Been the voice behind the stars for so long, Yvonne Ohene Djan, musically known as SHE came on stage with an unusual entry, one that nobody saw coming, SHE came in an acrobatic manner, as she spent 5 minutes on stage performing acrobatics, telling the crowd, this is the order side of her.

SHE then came to her very best for the night, looking splendid in her wedding gown, she performed her first single whose CDs was a sold out at the event called ‘DREAM LOVER’ produced by Kaywa and the singer got everybody present attention with the song.

After a splendid performance SHE promised the audience a three hour long hilarious fante and English romantic comedy movie and said ‘trust me you will enjoy the movie just as you enjoyed my performance, once again thank you for coming tonight, I am humbled, now let’s all enjoy the movie KWEIBA’

KWEIBA, kept to the story line, setting, plot, logistics, it also kept to its language, locations and environment simply put the movie passed everybody present judgment, even though there were some technicalities, thumbs up goes to the producers and director, they did a good Job with their direction, one of the best movies in 2012 so far.

In the entire premier hosted great names like ace and veteran film maker who doubles as the CEO of Television Africa, Mr Kwaw Ansah, actress Emelia Brobbery, Clement Bonney, (Mr. Beautiful), musician KK fosu, Richie plus Zigi from the Lynx Family, D-Flex and movie producer Socrate Sarfo, among other great names.
