Exim Bank has introduced a new debit card, the Faida EMV Debit Card, which provides enhanced security through an embedded chip that processes the customer?s data with unparallel security.

This card makes it difficult for fraudsters to ?copy or tamper with.

According to Mr George Shumbusho, Exim Bank Head of Treasury, ?the new card provides an enhanced security through embedded chip and additional PIN verification.

He was speaking at a conference in Dar es Salaam.

Faida EMV Debit Card

Mr George Shumbusho noted that the Faida EMV debit card allows a customer to access his or her account and perform transactions from any MasterCard certified ATMs and POS machines globally.

 

He also mentioned that Exim Bank understands customers need for safer and more secured transactions, hence the introduction of the new card.
