Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has expressed his worries over the growing injuries in his former club Arsenal following news that midfielder Santi Cazorla could be out until March.

Coach of the English Premier League side Arsene Wenger is quoted to have said that Cazorla could miss most parts of the season with his return likely to be in the final months of this term.

The Spain international was taken off during their match against Norwich City after suffering a knee ligament last weekend.

Carzola, 30, joins his Gunners team-mates Alexis Sanchez, Mikel Arteta, Francis Coquelin, Tomas Rosicky, Danny Welbeck and Jack Wilshere who are all on the sidelines because of injury.

Frimpong, who currently plays for for Russian top-flight side UFA, says the growing trend of injuries is a worry for the rest of the players in the squad.

Arsenal are fourth in the league table at the moment with 27 points from 14 matches, just two points behind leaders Manchester City.
