Eight people were killed by crocodiles till April this year in central Mozambique, according to state radio report on Tuesday.


The accidents happened in the Marromeu region along the Zambezi river, the radio said that some victims lost their life when washing clothes, while other victims were crashed by the crocodiles when they were fishing or taking bath.
The Zambezi river has been so dangerous in Mozambique, due to crocodiles. Last year around 40 people were reportedly killed in the neighboring Tete province, where the river runs through.
Crocodiles and elephants have been killing many people in central and northern regions of Mozambique in what the authorities regard as “animal-human conflict”.
Elephants are also accused of destroying crops in the southern African country. Enditem
