The legendary Ebo Taylor and his Bonze Konkoma Band will highlight a special night of classic Ghanaian music on September 20 at Alliance Francaise in Accra.

Ebo Taylor has recently released his latest album, the Appia Kwa Bridge and has returned from a tour across three continents. He will perform some of his newer tunes like ?Asomdwee?, ?love and death? and ?Abonsam? among his expansive catalogue of songs.

Also featured are the Ramblers International, John Collins and the Local Dimensions Band and ET Mensah and the Tempos Band Chapter II. John Collins plays the guitar among a number of instruments and he has been a member of many Ghanaian and Nigerian bands.

ET Mensah (?All for you,? ?Nke bo baa ya?) and Jerry Hansen (?Ama Bonsu,? ?Better Ni?) were two highlife pioneers whose works are being carried forward by their sons through the Tempos Band Chapter II and Ramblers International respectively.

Expect a celebration of highlife music on Osagyefo?s birthday weekend at Alliance Francaise with new songs from uncle Ebo while reminiscing on hits from the hey days of highlife.
