The Dumpong Rural Bank, one of the fastest growing Bank’s in the Eastern Region has? organized a 1-DayWorkshop for about 300 micro-finance customers at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region.

The participants were drawn from Nkawkaw, Kwahu Tafo, Aduamoah, Mpraeso, Ekye Amanfrom, Kotoso, Akoasi, Asakraka, Abetifi and Akwasiho.

Addressing the workshop,? the General Manager of the Bank, Mr. Ahadzi noted that the purpose of the function was to upgrade the knowledge of its customers in the rural micro-finance sector to enable them access? more funds to expand their businesses and also add value to their products.

He said his outfit is ready to support small businesses in the area to grow to help eradicate poverty which is rife among the people.

He later hinted that in India, the country?s micro-finance system has helpedimproved its economic backbone.

The Board Chairman of the Bank, Mr. Emmanuel Bona in his address urged clients who have accessed loans from it to bank to pay intime to enable more people benefit from the facility.
