American Idol XII: Tune in every Saturday at 16:00 CAT to watch the 12th season of one of the world?s greatest talent shows with Superstar judge Mariah Carey ? the best-selling female recording artist of all time and returning judge Randy Jackson, a Grammy Award-winning producer whose expertise and beloved persona have been instrumental in discovering Idol talent from the beginning. Joining the judging panel for Season 12 are Quadruple-platinum singer, songwriter, rapper and fashion icon Nicki Minaj; and Keith Urban, a four-time Grammy Award winner who has sold more than 15 million albums. The AFCON final is fast approaching and Trace Sports continues to showcase programming dedicated to the tournament and profiling Africa?s iconic football players.

Loud and Proud: Loud and Proud takes viewers into the lives of Ghanaian football players and brothers Jordan and Andre Ayew, who are determined to follow into the footsteps of their father Abedi Pele. The show also gets up close with Asamoah Gyan, Ghana?s first goalscorer in the history of the World Cup. Elected African Player of the Year 2010 and nominated for the Golden Ball, the champion lets his hair down and reveals his passion for dancing. Lastly, cameras follow Togolese striker, Emmanuel Adebayor as he reveals his life from Manchester to Madrid via Africa. Tune in on Friday 8 February at 21:00 CAT.

Next up on the coveted list of awards ceremonies is the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. The star- studded evening will also pay homage to veteran actor, Dick Van Dyke, as he receives the SAG 49th Life Achievement Award. Nominated stars include Denzel Washington, Nicole Kidman and Robert De Niro.  Meanwhile Lincoln holds the most nominations in the film category, while Modern Family leads the television category. Tune into the live screening on M-Net Movies Premiere on Monday 28 January at 03:00 CAT. The rescreening of the Screen Actors Guild Awards will be on M-Net Movies Premiere (Monday 28 January at 20:30 CAT) and M-Net Movies Stars (Saturday 2 February at 18:00 CAT).

Actor, film director, producer, screenwriter and award winner, George Clooney, will feature in two chart topping movies on M-Net Movies Premiere in February:

Ides of March: Ides of March depicts a story of a brilliant young up-and-coming press secretary who becomes involved in a political scandal. He must soon decide what?s more important, his career or his morals. This all-star cast includes George Clooney, Ryan Gosling and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Tune in on Sunday 3 February at 20:30 CAT.

The Descendant: A man is forced to confront the issues in his life when his wife is critically injured in an accident. With his two daughters by his side, he makes his way through Hawaii tying up loose ends. He soon realizes that life has some weird and wonderful surprises. Catch it on Friday 1 February at 20:30 CAT.

On Sunday 10 February, the Staples Center will come alive as the American music industry honours the best of its talent at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. Nominated artists include Jay-Z, Rihanna, Kanye West, Drake, Wiz Khalifa and Lil Wayne. Apart from the music, viewers can eagerly look forward to seeing the outfits, dates and stunts the artists have in store for the day. Channel O will screen the Awards live on Monday 11 February at 03:00 CAT. In celebration of the hottest trendsetters in fashion, the 9th Annual Style Awards honoured fashion icons, celebrities and the style elite who have led the way in the world of fashion in 2012. The event was highly supported with A-list appearances from Nicole Richie, Katie Holmes, Iman and industry veteran Carolina Herrera. DStv audiences can watch Style on Sunday 3 February at 22:10 CAT to see these Awards and last year?s unforgettable moments in fashion.

True Life (New episodes): True Life provides a window into the struggles, hopes, and dreams of young people. Narrated solely by its characters, each episode documents the unusual and often remarkable circumstances of individuals.
