Ex-Ghana FA boss Dr Nyaho Tamakloe has eaten humble pie after underlying the impact Kwesi Appiah had on the Black Stars during their 6-1 win over Egypt on Tuesday, calling him an exceptional coach.

The Ghanaian trainer silenced his avid critics after guiding the team to the famous win against the Pharaohs in Kumasi, to keep his enviable record against the North African country intact.

The controversial former FA boss, who has wasted no time in criticizing Appiah since his appointment, has heaped massive praise on him for his tactical resourcefulness.

?I must admit the boys did very well and deserve commendations,? Dr Tamakloe said

?Kwesi Appiah showed he is an exceptional coach and deserves a pat on the shoulder.

?Technically the tie is not over because we have to play the return leg but I don?t see how we cannot qualify.

?We have the quality to go to Cairo and even beat them there. We have gone to many intimidating places and we?ve won there.

?It?s obvious the guys are hungry to go to Brazil and will do everything necessary to qualify for a third successive appearance at the World Cup.?

Appiah has not lost a game against the Pharaohs since he took charge of the club, beating them 3-0 in an international friendly and followed it up with a resounding 6-1 success on Tuesday.

The former Asante Kotoko great recently nicknamed ?silent killer? by Black Stars players,  has made a number of bold decisions of his reign so far which has reaped the reward and proved doubters wrong including Dr Tamakloe with an outpouring of national fervour coming in droves.
