Panties are underwear worn by women and girls in the crotch area below the waist with an elastic waistband, a crotch panel to cover the genital area and a pair of leg openings which, like the waistband, are often made of elastic.?

While panties were originally designed to cover the entire lower half of the female form, the modern version has either no legs or, in some cases, very short ones, and has become progressively more revealing over time.

For some, wearing a G-string is trendy, easy to wear, quick to wash and strongly believe every woman or girl should have one but for others, wearing a G-string pant is a pain in the butt.?

According to a respondent on this question, Chibuzor Bubu, he said, “I will go with the G-string because it’s appealing to the eyes, sexier, classier, it suave and it is presently a trend in fashion.”

He added that, “no visible line shows when you are wearing a pant trouser and that makes it good for every woman to have it.”?

Reacting, Francis Onukuogwu said, “I like the full panties, it covers. Why would a girl be wearing catapult in the first place? I hate it because it does not cover a woman’s butt and anyone wearing G-string is as good as wearing nothing under. When a girl wears it, it is noticeable, I can tell when I see a lady wearing it and again, it will be a disaster to behold when the lady’s cloth mistakenly flies behind.”

Panties are divided into various types based on such criteria as amount of rear coverage, width at the sides and height at which they are worn. These categories are not necessarily distinct and usage may vary somewhat among brands.?

A G-string is a large triangle in front attached to a small triangle or other strings in the back by a very thin string of fabric. This line of fabric rests snugly yet comfortably along the perineal up the rear. It is actually not even noticeable if you are wearing the right size. The sides are also made of extremely thin bands that should be snug, yet not leave marks around the hips or waist. G-strings make sure that you have no visible panty lines with your sleekest of dresses and slacks. This type exposes the vast majority of the buttocks.

One can argue that it is better to have a small piece of fabric up there. However, you need to know what types of G-strings are the best to wear as far as comfort go.?

Briefs rise to the waist, or just below the navel, and have full coverage in the rear.

Hipsters are similar to briefs, but are worn lower down the body, with the waistband around the hips.

Bikinis sit at hip level, like the Hipsters, but the fabric of the side sections is narrower. With the string bikini type, the side sections disappear altogether and the waistband consists of only string-like material; also, the rear coverage of the bikini is not as concealing as the design of the brief.?

Bikini is the most widely worn style amongst women worldwide.

Thongs have a waistband similar to tangas, but the rear coverage is not as full. The crotch is extended to the back of the wearer and a narrow strip of fabric fits between the buttocks, becoming wider towards the top.

When choosing any panties, you must choose depending on the comfort level and you must be certain you are wearing the right size because this determines your comfort or panties painful wearing.

For G-string, synthetic elastic fabrics offer the most comfortable choices and colours.?

Your panties must be secure, breathable, and extremely comfortable, stay dry, to avoid irritation to your delicate parts.?

If you love cotton panties, you need to be more cautious because they shrink. Cotton also likes to hold in moisture and can be a bit uncomfortable by the end of the day for some ladies. It would be better to consider a cotton blend that has an elastic synthetic fabric woven into it. This will provide a drying effect and reduce the distortion that washing and drying cotton can have.

Of all these outlined, which do you prefer?

However, in choosing any kind of panties, comfort and a breathable material should be considered.
