The Debt Management Office (DMO) has disclosed that it auctioned N75 billion worth of bonds in August.

The DMO disclosed this on its website, where it announced the results of three categories of bonds.

It listed the three categories of bonds as five-year tenor bond, seven-year tenor and 10-year tenor bonds.

Coupon rates for the three bonds are 15.10 percent, 16.00 percent and 16.39 percent for the five, seven and 10-year tenor bonds.

The bonds will mature in 2017, 2019 and 2020, respectively.

The number of those who participated at the three auctions were 65, 101 and 131 respectively, but those successful were from 40, 27 and 22 respectively.
