AIK Stockholm Sporting Director Jens Andersson has not ruled out the possibility of bidding for midfielder Derek Boateng.

The 29-year-old is unsettled at Dnipro and has unequivocally declared his desire to walk out on the Ukranian outfit after just one season.

He was racially abused last term and that could have prompted his decision to seek a move away from the club.

Media reports in Sweden has claimed the former Getafe man could make a sensational return to the club he left six years ago.

But the club?s Sporting Director has remained evasive on the subject but says such a scenario cannot be ruled out. .

?I heard that he wants to leave, but he is the subject of an agreement with his club,? Andersson told eurosport

?I cannot exactly say that we have not had contact with Derek lately,?

?It is a complicated and purely hypothetical question.?

Boateng played for the Swedish side between 2003-2006 where he excelled hugely.

He is a subject of an intense bidding battle among some stellar European clubs after Fulham saw their bid for the player by  Dnipro.
