Lancaster University Ghana (LUG) has concluded its annual Business Cup Challenge 2026, with Team Adwuma360 of Delhi Private School International Ghana emerging as overall winners of the youth entrepreneurship competition held under the theme “Youth Economy.”
The event brought together 37 teams and nearly 250 students from 15 schools across Ghana, competing through an Elevator Pitch semi-final and Case Study rounds before advancing to a Grand Finale judged by figures from academia and industry.
GIU Team 2 of GIU International Christian Academy placed first runner-up, while Team Youth Power of Delhi Private School International Ghana and Team Romana-VI of The Roman Ridge School jointly secured the second runner-up position.
Gloria Sraha, Head of the Department of Business Studies at LUG, announced that the top three teams would be incubated through the university’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hub to develop their concepts into viable businesses.
The competition, sponsored by Transnational Academic Group (TAG), POD Solutions, Bel Beverages, and Blue Skies, is designed to connect Senior High School (SHS) students with academia and the corporate sector to develop practical solutions to challenges within the youth economy.
