DAMASCUS — The Syrian army has advanced into a strategic rebel-held city in southern Syria amid a collapse in rebel ranks, the army said.

MOSCOW — Russia has started shipping S-300 air defense missile systems to Iran, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said.

HANOI — The suspected gunman in shooting case which led to the death of a Chinese man in Vietnam’s central Da Nang City in late November was caught, according to local authority.

On Nov. 26, a Chinese national died after a man shot him in the stomach in front of his wife’s house in central Vietnam’s Da Nang City, some 750 km south of capital Hanoi.

According to Da Nang police, the gunman was later identified also a Chinese national, reported an official online newspaper of Da Nang City. (Vietnam-Shooting) Enditem
