57 persons have been confirmed dead while another 131 were rescued alive following a building collapse of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, said the South West spokesperson of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye.

Mr Farinloye said, “a woman of about 45 years-old walked of the rubbles on her own around 2:00 a.m today (Tuesday) and 8 more bodies were recovered over night.”

As at Monday, 49 persons were found dead while 130 persons were rescued alive.

It will be recalled that, a  six-storey building under construction at the SCOAN belonging to Prophet TB Joshua collapsed on Friday, September 12 at noon.
