The customers have also threaten to withdraw and close their accounts with the Bank should she be allowed to stay with such behavior.

Majority of the customers, according to information gathered are alleged to have already closed accounts with the bank.

The customers who demanded Ms. Hoeyi Fafa Benedicta’s immediate sack, from the Bank’s Aflao Branch accused her of “gross misconduct, and client intimidation.”

A regular customer of the Bank, the Managing Director of Assurity Company Limited, Daniel Akpaloo who expressed his sentiments over the development at the Bank as regards the lady’s behavior indicated that he was turned away by Hoeyi Fafa Benedicta when he went to the Bank to do some transfers to China.

“This lady refused to accept the money for the transfer. She turned us away without giving us any reason. I actually reported to the Assistant Manager but nothing was done so I have to leave the Bank without carrying out the transaction,” he said.

When the Assistant Manager was contacted via his mobile phone, he admitted the incident but claimed the customer was angry at the situation and left even though he was asked to stay for the transaction to be done.
However, Hoeyi Fafa Benedicta also claimed not to have ignored the customer but that she asked the customer to wait whilst she attends to others who were present before him.

Meanwhile, after three days of the incident, the Customer Daniel Akpaloo sent a staff of his company to go do the same transaction but again the lady refused to accept the money.

It took the intervention of the Manager of the Bank in Aflao who took the documents himself and promised to do the transaction and transfer himself.

According to Mr. Akpaloo most clients said they were not ready to continue to put up with the lady’s style.
