Super Eagles African Cup Of Nations’ Winning winger Ahmed Musa on Saturday maintained his goal scoring form by netting the winning goal as CSKA Moscow beat Tom?Tomsk 2-1 in the Russian Premier League.
This goal marks Musa’s fourth goal of the season in the keenly contested Russian Premier League.
The former Kano Pillars striker who has been enjoying a good form this season claimed the winner in the 58th minutes of the epic encounter as the Army club edged a difficult match day 6 contest to romp to the top of the league standings with 14 points from 6 matches.
The winger reacted in lightening fashion to poke home a predatory finish from four yards after the Tom?Tomsk goalkeeper, Petr Vasek beat out Georgi Milanov?s powerful strike from a tight angle towards the path of the onrushing Nigerian.
Musa is now third in the top scorers? standings in the Premier league with four goals. Only Artem Dyzuba (Rostov, 7 goals) and Danny (Zenith St. Petersburg 5 goals) have scored more league goals this season.
The former VVV Venlo man has played 31 times for the Nigeria national team scoring 5 goals in the process for the Super Eagles.
