Vice President of the Ghana Football Association Fred Crentsil has resisted claims that defeated Executive Committee members of the Ghana FA are plotting to derail GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi insisting the claims are uselessly baseless.

President of Premier League side New Edubiase United, Abdul Salam Yakubu is reported to have said that defeated candidates in the executive committee elections of the Ghana Football Association are plotting to derail the president of the Ghana federation.

The vice president who also lost his slot on the executive committee has furiously refuted the claims describing them as mere speculations and an attempt to tarnish his hard earned reputation.

Speaking exclusively to GHANAsoccernet.com ?The assertion is totally false and a figment of his own imagination. It is mischievous and I don?t know what he intends to achieve by this.?

?I have never connived with anyone nor intend to do so. I have an excellent rapport with Kwesi Nyantakyi and I believe in the vision of the FA,? he added.

?I believe my reputation was by dint of hard work and would not allow anyone to drag my name in the mud.?

The former Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak challenged Salam Yakubu to name and shame those he claims are plotting against the FA Boss or consider himself a detractor and a liar.
