Mr Kofi Bondzie Baidoo, Effutu constituency parliamentary candidate for the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), has said when voted to power they would live up to their tradition of selflessness, dedication and commitment to their development agenda.

He told the GNA in an interview that the CPP aimed at establishing a strong society in which no one would have any anxiety about basic needs of life, work, food and shelter.

Mr Baidoo said the CPP cares for Ghanaians and would ensure that diseases are brought under control, improve education facilities and provide children with the best possible opportunities to develop their potentials.

He said the party believed that the availability of food at affordable prices, access to good health, provision of affordable housing are basic rights that every Ghanaian deserves.

He said the CPP had come for the people to regain the hope and aspiration they enjoyed previously by working harder to introduce socio-economic interventions based on a seven-year- develop plan.

Mr Baidoo appealed to people to vote for him as their Member of Parliament and Dr Abu Sakara as the President of the nation to bring development.

Mr Bondzie Baidoo urged the people in Effutu constituency to come out in their numbers and vote for CPP for peace and unity, adding they should ignore politicians who would incite them to create confusion during and after the election because such people are unpatriotic citizens.
