Kojo Essel pleaded guilty and the court sentenced him accordingly.
Essel will serve a three-month prison term and added if he fails to pay the fine.
Prosecuting, Police Inspector Peter Agbelie, told the court presided over by Mr. Alexander Oworae, that on December 10, at about 16.30 hours, the accused person was driving an Opel Corsa taxi and was intercepted by the Winneba District Police Commander for causing road obstruction.
The prosecution said Essel parked his vehicle in the middle of the road near the Winneba old taxi rank, thus making it difficult for other road users..
Inspector Agbelie told the court that in his caution statement, the accused person admitted the offence and was therefore arraigned before the court.
