AIK Stockholm coach Andreas Alms

AIK Stockholm coach Andreas Alm has hailed Ghana youth star Latif Anabila after the talented midfielder excelled while training with the Swedish club over the past two weeks.

The 18-year-old, who plays for Ghanaian top-flight side New Edubiase, arrived in the Swedish capital early this month to be observed by the the club.

Anabila, who was voted as Ghana league’s most talented last season, played in some friendlies for the Swedish club including the friendly win overAssyriska.

The Ghana youth international played the entire duration of the game against Assyriska leaving the coach impressed.

“Latif is a really good player, says AIK coachAndreas Alm said after the game.

Scouts for AIK were reported to have been impressed with his performances for the Ghana U23 side at the 2015 All Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo.

Anabila scored two goals in 23 appearances and his superb volley against Hearts of Oak in Obuasi was rated the best goal of the season.
