Business operators and young entrepreneurs would have the chance to interact through networking sessions and actively engage business moguls and renowned entrepreneurs about the future of Ghana’s business environment in the next 20 years.

citifmradio“There have been a number of additions to this year’s Citi Business Festival to satisfy the needs of different business levels,” Mr Bernard Avle, Host of Citi Breakfast show told audience at the launch.

He said the 2016 festival included many innovations while business tycoons were assembled to mentor young entrepreneurs on ways to survive turbulent business setting in the 21st century.

The month-long festival, which begun with the launch covers raft of programmes such as Management Boot Camp, Footprint, Sales Revolution, Exceed, and Innovation Summit.

The Innovation Summit, which would be on the theme: “The Future of Ghana Businesses,” focuses on Ghana’s business environment in the next two decades.

“This is expected to deliberate on how business leaders need to evolve and adapt to survive in the business world,” Mr Avle said.

“By this, ‘The Future of Ghana Businesses’, will create a platform to elicit the views of Ghana’s most innovative business leaders, on the kind of business environment they hope to see in the country.”

The ‘Footprint’ is aimed at addressing relevant issues Ghanaian youth faces in their quest to penetrate the business world.

The platform, he said, is intended to engage tertiary students as they prepare to enter the corporate world.

The programme is expected to bring businesspersons to give industry insights to the youth and to equip students with detailed information about current trends and dynamics in various sectors of the economy.

Head of Citi Business Desk, Ms Vivian Kai-Lokko said the festival would address major challenges business operators and industrialists encounter in the country and explore ways of curbing such difficulties.

“The Citi Business Festival is by far the biggest business event in the country because of the quality of events we offer, our line-up of events ensures that all persons especially business operators, entrepreneurs and students gain the best insights and knowledge from activities earmarked for the festival,” she said.
