Churches in Agona Nyakrom have organized special week-long programmes simultaneously, after the town celebrated its Annual Akwambo Festival.

The Christ Power Centre organized a 7-Day non-denominational Prayer Convocation on the theme ”Divine Manifestation.”

According to the branch pastor of the Church Pastor Prince Agbo, the purpose of the prayer festival is to offer spiritual solutions to the teeming members of the town and beyond who are suffering from various forms of spiritual bondages.

On its part, the Founder and General Overseer of the Voice of Power Ministry Int. Snr. Apostle Douglas Kwadwo Ameyaw Yeboah has admonished the youth to be proactive in life by learning some form of vocational skill, and avoid the adoption of easy way to riches.

Speaking at a 6-Day Supernatural Breakthrough programme on the theme ”Loose Him and Let Him Go”, Snr. Apostle Yeboah expressed dismay how the youth of today have resorted to the use of easy way to richness whiles some parents and society at large have accepted this as a norm.
Addressing a large crowd that attended the programme, Snr. Apostle Yeboah described the trend as a path to death, and has therefore called on society to condemn the practice, so as to help save the youth who are the future leaders from premature death.
The Christ Apostolic Church Int. also organized a week-long Prophet Tarry Camp on the theme ”Power with Purpose.”

Briefing newsghana on the programme, the Agona Nyakrom branch minister of the Church, Rev. Jacob Asante stated that apart from evangelizing, other societal topical issues were treated with speakers such as Rev. Thimothy Tabi, Elder David Okofo, Elder C.K. Yiadom among a host of others.

He hinted that the Tarry Camp which is an annual event organized by the Church is to reach the unreached with the word of God and make them experience His supernatural healing powers.
