Christians have been urged to let the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ reflect in their lives through their giving and support for the weak and the poor.GCCI Logo

The Reverend Vincent Duho, the Accra District Pastor of the Great Commission Church International (GCCI), said, ?God honours everyone who gives to the poor and the weak, and for the work of the ministry’.

He said many people were self-centred and what they knew and cared about is: ?I, Me, and Myself’, which according to him, did not reflect God?s love for mankind.

Rev Duho gave the advice during GCCI 2015 Greater Accra Zonal Easter Convention at Ada-Foah to mark Good Friday.

The four-day convention on the theme, ?Striving to Know God Better? brought together all branches of the Church in the Region.

The District Pastor explained that God loved cheerful givers, and he rewarded them bountifully.

He urged Christians not to doubt the saving grace of God, which he said, was capable of transforming any situation in the whole universe.

Rev Duho advised Christians to stop putting their trust in mortal men, and to rather keeping trusting the God they served because nothing was too difficult for Him.

He said God had better things in store for His Children.
