The Enugu State governor says he will allocate land to genuine investors

Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State says the state government is willing to allocate land to genuine investors who wish to invest in the state.

This was contained in a message the governor sent to the ground breaking of the South-East Zonal office of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) on Tuesday in Enugu.

Chime, who was represented by the State Head of Service, Dennis Eze, commended ICAN for establishing its zonal office in the state.

The President of ICAN, Adedoyin Owolabi, said that the office would reduce the challenges which the institute faced in the zone.

He thanked the state government for providing the land, and urged the chairman of the Enugu zonal office to ensure the speedy completion of the building.

The Enugu State ICAN Chairman, Martin Onyenmuru, said that the state was the first to have a zonal office; adding that Enugu was selected because of its strategic importance politically.
