The former Anambra state Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Godson Ezenagu has frowned at what he described as poor representation of the Awka-North/South Federal constituency at the national assembly.

Chief Ezenagu disclosed this in a remark of appreciation after the conferment of a chieftaincy title(Akpokue Dike) on him by the traditional ruler of Okpuno Awka,??HRH Igwe S.I.Okafor on the occasion of 2014 new yam festival in in the monarch?s??palace Okpuno.

He said that the constituency was in a state of melancholy, observed that the constituency does not reflect any federal presence and that he was on a mission to rescue the people from the grip of poor quality representation at the national assembly.

Chief Ezenagu who hails from Mgbakwu in Awka-north local government area maintained that he has traversed the nooks and crannies of the constituency but to his dismay constituency projects were a mirage in the area .According to him Oba-Ofemili, Amanuke and some other communities in Awka-north and South federal constituency lacked motorable roads as well as some other social amenities that should have been attracted to the constituency.
