In its quest to build West Africa?s First food recovery bank in Ghana, Chefs for Change Ghana foundation on Saturday,13th June 2015 launched the Food for All Ghana campaign conference, Awards, Unveiling of Goodwill Ambassador and World record to be set on a UN World food day project aimed at reducing food wastage and losses at the Ghana Wildlife Society in Accra.

IMGP9182Under the 2015 Food for All Ghana campaign, the foundation with partnership from SAVE FOOD will be hosting the first Food for All Ghana conference ,Awards and on the 2015 UN World food day set a Guinness world record for the longest charity dinner table set on a UN World food day scheduled from the 13th -16th October,2015.Speaking at the launch the founder, Chef Elijah Amoo Addo stated that nearly 40% of the food produced in the world is never eaten. In Africa, up to 66% of all food spoils before it is sold. Over 30% of Ghanaians do not have enough food to eat and over 45% of food is wasted in Ghana. On national front a lot of foodstuffs are lost during bumper harvest due to inadequate storage facilities and poor transportation network.
