British television personality Narinder Kaur has reported to police after trolls created a fake photograph placing her alongside convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein using artificial intelligence technology.

The manipulated image circulated on social media platform X shows the 53 year old presenter digitally superimposed into a photograph originally featuring Epstein with Belarusian woman Karyna Shuliak, believed to be his final girlfriend before his death.

Kaur, known for appearances on Jeremy Vine and Good Morning Britain, told the Daily Mail she has never met or had any dealings with Epstein, calling the fabricated content exhausting and emotionally damaging.

The image appears to have been manipulated using artificial intelligence to give the impression that Kaur knew Epstein, according to reports verified by multiple sources on Wednesday.

The presenter said she believes she is targeted because of her ethnicity and outspoken social media presence, describing the incident as a new form of online abuse requiring no real photographs or events.

A complaint regarding the original post has been filed with an English police force and subsequently transferred to the Metropolitan Police for investigation.

Multiple outlets have reported that images were generated using an artificial intelligence tool developed by Google, though the specific software has not been officially confirmed.

The incident follows similar cases this week where AI generated images falsely depicted New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and his mother with Epstein after the United States Department of Justice released over three million documents related to the deceased financier.

Kaur previously spoke out in January about being targeted with AI generated sexual videos created using technology platform Grok, which she said showed fabricated explicit scenarios and racially charged imagery.

The presenter emphasized the challenge of defending oneself against fabricated content that spreads rapidly online before victims can respond, noting the psychological toll of seeing one’s image placed into false scenarios.

Legal experts have warned that current regulations lag behind the rapid advancement of generative AI technology capable of creating convincing fake photographs and videos within minutes.

The Metropolitan Police has not publicly commented on the status of the investigation or potential charges related to the manipulated image.
