The airline has announced special summer fares for passengers, with seats in World Traveller (Economy Class) starting from as low as $450, excluding taxes and other charges, representing savings of about 25% on tickets to London, Europe and the USA. Earlier this year, British Airways granted customers an astonishingly low $74 fare, its lowest ever on flights out of Ghana.

?Our customers are at the heart of what we do and these offers are one of the ways we demonstrate that,? says Moran Birger, British Airways? Commercial Manager for Ghana. The special premium fares are on sale from now until 10 June, for travel in June and July 2014.

Birger explains that the summer season is traditionally a period for individual and family holidays for many British Airways travellers in Ghana, ?This summer promises to be extra special, because apart from the regular holidaymakers, we are seeing quite a number of bookings for people who are travelling to attend their relative?s graduation ceremonies both in the UK and in the USA. There are also sporting activities such as the World Cup and Commonwealth Games coming up, and we want to enable customers experience that extra special treat, travelling for leisure in our world-class cabins.?
