Britain’s Prince William was spotted surfing on his pal’s stag do in Sauton Sands, Devon, at the weekend with a group of his close friends.

The prince – who welcomed his son, Prince George, into the world 23 day ago – took some time away from his parental duties to enjoy a gathering with a group of his friends at the weekend where he was seen splashing around in the sea in Saunton Sands, Devon.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “You could see he was loving every minute.”

William was said to have been given permission by his wife Duchess Catherine to go on the celebratory trip with 15 of his friends; including close pal Guy Pelly.

The group were seen travelling down to Devon via train in a private carriage from London Paddington.

A fellow passenger said: “I walked through the carriage on the way to the buffet car and spotted William with a bunch of chaps swigging beer like it was going out of fashion.

“The tables were covered with cans and miniature bottles of gin and one chap seemed to be wearing gold lam? shorts.”
