The National Information Centre yesterday barred the BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) group from attending its briefing, denying that there was any briefing going on in the building.

The group, which had sent some of its members to the centre to get verifications on many issues raised in the media concerning the Chibok girls, met stiff opposition by Mrs Juliet Akebe and Mr David, workers at the National Orientation Centre, who after proper scrutiny, prevented the members from attending the briefing.

According to a member of the group, Miriam Yakubu Ikunaiye, Mrs Akebe had agreed that the centre was for information dissemination to the masses, only for her to bar them from entering after consultations with her bosses upstairs.
