Bournemouth coach Eddie Howe says his signings so far for the club ? including snapping up Christian Atsu ? is meant to sharpen the side?s attack.

The Cherries completed the signing of the Ghana international on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea just five days after the 2014/15 Premier League season.

Atsu is set to go on his third successive loan stint since joining Chelsea in 2013 from FC Porto.

Bournmouth coach Eddie Howe has been singing the praises of the swift winger since securing his services.

Howe has also added the likes of Joshua King, Adam Federici and Arthur Boruc to his summer acquisitions.

The Cherries manager says his business so far in the transfer window is to strengthen the side by sharpening its attack as they prepare for their debut campaign in the English top flight.

?We have brought in two very experienced goalkeepers who I think will do very well for us. The two outfield signings will both add pace and attacking qualities to the squad,? Howe said.

?We are certainly looking at more players. We are very aware we are entering a new league and a completely different challenge awaits us.?

Atsu will be looking to benefit from regular first team action with his move to Bournemouth.

The 23-year-old endured a torrid time last term at Everton where he was expected to really come into his own since moving to the Premiership.
