A civil society organization in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region, called Bodome Freho Youth For Development, has appealed to the government of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa to nominate someone who is affable and has the development of the district at heart to help build it.

According to the chairman of the group, Mr. Bright Baffour Asare, Bosome freho is one of the districts in Ashanti Region that former president Kuffour created in 2008, but now its the most deprived district in Ashanti region that lags far behind over the years.

Erstwhile, Bosome freho was part of Bekwai Amansie district before it was separated to become the now Bosome Freho district on its own.

According to the chairman, the District lacks good roads, portable water, no fire service station, no police quarters or proper accommodation, no proper health facility many more. “Our roads especially, they are in a very bad shape and thus, affecting commuters,” he lamented.

The are therefore calling on the presidrnt, Nana Addo to be very circumspect in his nomination, in order to give them someone wjo is very competent enough with better expertise to help fast track developmental projects in the District.

The chairman of the group, Mr. Bright Baffour Asare made these indications, when he spoke to News Ghana, at the groups press briefing on 26th – March, 2017.
