The Federal Government has yesterday Thursday donated four trailers of relief items to victims of the recent boko haram terrorists attack in Baga town which claimed over one hundred human lives. And animals as well abducted over 300 women and young ladies.

The items were delivered by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) North East Zonal Office Maiduguri.
The relief materials include 600 bags of rice, 300 bags of Maize, 500 pieces of women wares, 400 pieces of men wares, 1000 pieces of blankets and other items.

The NEMA North East Zonal Coordinator Alhaji Mohammed Kanal presented the relief materials on behalf of the Director General of NEMA Alhaji Mohammed Sani Sidi at the Shettima Ali Monguno Teachers Village Camp, Pompomari Ko Ko area for the internally displaced persons from Baga, Gamboru Ngala and Dikwa LGAs in Maiduguri.

According to the coordinator, the items are for the 3200 internally displaced persons IDPs from Baga and other LGAs currently staying at the camp.
