BISMARK BROWN IS INNOCENT – High Court finds No evidence against him and his fellow accused Ghana’s Morning Show anchor and host of Ye Pe Ahuon on Happy 98.9 FM, Bismark Brown, popularly known as BB, has been totally cleared  by the Fast Track High  Court  in Accra of an accusation that he was found in possession of and used illicit drugs.

A State Prosecutor, Nii Kpapo last week told an Accra Fast track High Court, that after a careful study of the docket, the State came to the conclusion that there was absolutely no evidence to prosecute BB and the other accused persons.

At the request of the Prosecutor, the presiding Judge, Justice Ofori Atta, discharged them amidst jubilations from their many supporters.

They were alleged by the Police to have been smoking marijuana and be in possession of heroin and ammunitions and of making suspicious moves in the area, but now, after a four month wait the State has declared there is no evidence to prosecute him and the two others. BB who declared his innocence right from the first day of his arrest stepped down from presenting his popular shows to fight and clear his name.

“I am glad that the truth has been established. This has been a tough ordeal and I am grateful to my wife, family, friends and company for believing in my innocence and supporting me”, an elated BB told his supporters outside the court premises

With his name and reputation totally cleared, Ghana  and Happy FM have re-instated Bismark Brown and  information gathered  indicate the affable star presenter  will be back on screen and radio after the Easter celebrations.
