Bimbilla

The Ministry of the Interior has reviewed the curfew hours on Bimbilla Township from 2200 hours to 0400 hours effective Tuesday, September 19, 2017.

The curfew hours were previously 2000 hours to 0400 hours.

A statement signed by the Minister, Mr Ambrose Dery, and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday said the review was upon the advice of the Northern Regional Security Council and by Executive Instrument.

It advised the chiefs, opinion leaders, the youth and the people to exercise restraint and use non-violent means to ensure peace in the area.

The statement reminded them of the total ban on carrying arms, ammunitions or any offensive weapon and that any person found with such weapons would be arrested and prosecuted.
