Ghanaian-born Canadian international Randy Edwini-Bonsu has missed out on opportunity to justify his qualities to his country in the Black Stars? international friendly with Canada on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old is among overseas players overlooked by Benito Floro who has rang changes in his squad by including a number of new faces in his side for the game.

Bonsu, who was born in the Ghanaian city of Kumasi, moved to Canada with his immigrant parents in 2002 and was snapped up by the North American side.

Since debuting for Canada in January 2010, the offensive midfielder has gone ahead to play ten times and scored once but has played through the various youth ranks for the American country.

Bonsu, currently with German third-tier side Aalen, was obviously looking forward to a call-up from Canada to face his mother country but he was left out by manager Floro.

Meanwhile Nana Attakora Gyan who is also of Ghanaian has been named in the Canada squad for the game and is expected to be on the pitch for game on Tuesday.
