golfFelix Antonio, whose hard work earned him 69 net, took the second position whiles B.K. Asare placed third with 70 net with the fourth position going to Theo Asampong with 71 net.

In the Group ‘B’ segment, Kojo Ansah came first with 62 net, Yaw Tinkorang took the second position with 64 net whiles Jimmy Thormie placed third with 67 net.

In the Ladies Division, Jessica Tei came first with 76 net, Letitia Amponsah Mensah placed second with 78 net, with Ragheda Khalil taking the third position with 79 net.

In the Professional’s encounter, John Mawuli, sponsored by Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Limited and winner of this year’s Asantehene Gold Cup, came first with 69 net, E.K. Osei came second with 71 net with Francis Torgah taking the third position with 74 net.

The one-day 18-Hole Medal Play competition, sponsored by Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited, PZ Cusson and Uniliver Ghana Limited attracted 120 golfers.

Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, Okyenhene, called on the Ghana Golf Association to make the game more accessible and affordable to the youth so that they can take it up from the older players.
