All is set for the unveiling of Bahmed Travel and Tours Brazil 2014 World Cup package this Thursday in Kumasi after a successful launch in Accra.

CEO of the travel and tour company, Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh, said the decision to move to the Ashanti Region was to ensure equitable services to all prospective soccer loving fans in the country.

Announcing the package at the company?s Labone office on Thursday, Alhaji Bandoh mentioned that travellers would have the luxury of choosing from three packages ? Gold/Silver ($10,000) and Bronze ($6,100).

He said having executed the Germany 2006 World Cup travel arrangements with perfection, he was seeking to improve on that track record to airlift as many soccer fans from across the country to the soccer festival in June.

?In 2006, we flew over 3,000 soccer fans to Germany for the World Cup, and we?re hoping to do same for those who want to go to Brazil.

?We have formed various committees to handle different aspects of the travel arrangement to ensure a hitch-free program. I was in Brazil some few days ago, and have been able to secure 1,700 rooms after an arrangement at Fortaleza,? he added.

Deputy Minister of Employment and Social Welfare Nana Antwi Boasiako said Bahmed Travels had distinguished itself in airlifting soccer fans over the years and expressed the hope that it would do the same for the Summer World Cup.

A few weeks ago, Bahmed officially signed an agreement with airline giants Emirates, the official airliner for the FIFA World Cup, to airlift soccer fans to Brazil.

It was the La Manste, Nii Kpobi Tettey Tsuru III, who chaired the function.
