Delighted Andre Ayew acknowledges cheers from Swansea fans

Andre and Jordan Ayew engaged in an emotional jersey-swap after playing against each other for Swansea City and Aston Villa respectively.

Andre, the eldest of the two Ghanaian brothers however wore the broader smile at the end of the game as his late strike earned the visiting Swansea team all three points at Villa Park on Saturday.

Jordan was however the first to celebrate – scoring his debut Premier League goal to give Aston Villa a 62nd minute lead.

Swansea equalized six minutes later through Gylfi Sigurosson before Andre Ayew scored the eventual winner three minutes from time.

The Ghanaian brothers who were playing against each other for the second time in their career were filmed after the game exchanging jerseys.

They warmly embraced each other with Andre appearing to be murmuring words of encouragement to his younger brother.

The deputy Black Stars captain with the jersey of his brother hanging on his shoulder then went over to the away stand to acknowledge cheers from the traveling Swansea supporters.
