Ghana internationals Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew battle each other this weekend as Swansea City travel to the Villa Park to lock horns with struggling Aston Villa in the English Premier League.

The Ayew brothers joined the league this season from French clubs Olympique Marseille and Lorient but have enjoyed mixed fortunes, with Andre hitting in four Premier League goals and winning the player of the month of August while Jordan is yet to find his feet, going blank in six appearances.

Andre, 25, admits he is proud to face his brother once more and hopes to carry the day.

?We?ve both been talking about this game ever since we moved to the Premier League,? Ayew told Swanseacity.net ?We are both very proud to be playing in the best league and have this opportunity to play against each other.

?We are both trying to make our family, and the Ghanaian fans proud, because when we play we aren?t just doing it for ourselves, there are a lot of other supporters out there watching us.

?We talk most days, but not always about football. At the end of the day we are family, but when we get onto the pitch it?s about business and fighting for your team-mates and fans.

?It was a weird feeling playing against Jordan last season. But we lost that day ? he scored two and I got one ? so I hope it isn?t like that on Saturday.?

Swansea, after their defeat to Stoke earlier this week, are without a win in five games while Aston Villa are yet to record another victory aside their away victory over Bournemouth.

?It?s going to be a tough game but one we need to win,? Ayew noted. ?We need to do everything we can to get the three points. They [Aston Villa] also need points but we need to be strong mentally.

?The manager has been working us hard and had a chat with us and told us to keep working hard and be confident. He knows what we can do and we need to just continue doing our jobs, believe in one another, stay united and start winning games again.?

He added: ?When things are difficult there are some players who need to take responsibility to get us back to winning ways, and I?m one of those.

?We have great players in the squad who are going to help us get back to our best form, but we need to put Monday behind us and get a result on Saturday.?

The last meeting between the two brothers was in the French Ligue 1 in April, when a brace from Jordan helped Lorient defeat Marseille 5-3 at the Stade Velondrome.
