May I be permitted to inform all Kumawuman citizens the world over, their sympathisers and friends alike, that the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute has finally been resolved? The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II after tortuously dragging the case for years, consequent upon Kumawuhemaa?s collusive diabolical machinations, has now seen reason and the urgency to resolve it.

The case has been heard with both parties presenting their family trees, arguing their cases fully, and answering questions before the mighty Asanteman Traditional Council. Verdict is set to be delivered by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, on?Thursday 22 August 2013. I hope most Kumawuman citizens will take time off their normal duties to proceed to Manhyia Palace?tomorrow, to hear the judgment pronounced first hand.

God has since the very inception of the demise of Barima Asumadu Sakyi II, appointed a member from the Ananangya royal family to ascend the Kumawu Kodua paramount stool. However, Kumawuhemaa, a “supposedly” royal from the Ankaase group had connived with one Abenaa Wurukye and others, working in tandem against God’s plan for Kumawuman, caused the devastating delay.

In the end, the Ever-patient God has asserted His authority. He has emerged victorious as He had been, is, and will always be. A person after His own heart, chosen by Him, will serve Kumawuman in the capacity of a paramount chief. His chosen one will bring about the prosperity that the inhabitants yearn for. The purposeful mischief in execution by the Kumawuhemaa coupled with the negligence of his Ankaase predecessors has caused the evasion of essential development to Kumawuman for so long.

I shall have a lot of information to feed to all those interested in Kumawu history at the right time. The current political climate in Ghana is not conducive to narrating the history of any people or area in Ghana. Such a written narration will be clouded or dwarfed by people?s present interest in knowing the outcome of who their actual president is, following the election 2012 case at the Supreme Court. Why should I publish any such history knowing very well it will not attract the needed attention?

I sincerely thank God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost for answering the prayers of supplication by the much suffered Kumawuman citizens. May I extend my sincere acknowledgment to Mr Francis Akoto and his Ghanaweb Management Team and supporting staff, and my appreciations to Modernghana electronic media for their relentless support in publishing all relevant stories as might have been written under the inspiration of God the Father? What we are observing today could not have been possible without their assistance that helped with the immense revelation of certain hidden historical facts.

I pray that other print and electronic media will follow in the many purposeful and adorable footsteps of the above mentioned media houses, the only way to fight corruption, injustices and abuse of power in the Ghanaian society. It is also the only way to bring out the truth to the attention and knowledge of the world.

My last but not the least sincere thanks go to all those prophets of God who helped in diverse ways not only to protect the God’s chosen one spiritually but to assure his supporters of God’s decision. When hope seemed to have lost, they assured the friends of the chosen one of there being a light at the end of the tunnel. And lo and behold, their prediction has come to fruition. Many are those that I had wanted to mention but for their safety and security, I may desire to keep them anonymous.

All are invited to join in the celebration of the ascendency of the Chosen one to the Kumawu Tweneboa Kodua Stool. I shall publish the date as and when it becomes known.

Finally, finally, I thank Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, for mustering courage to resolutely determine the case that has been lingering on to the disadvantage of the Kumawumauman citizens. I say, thank you to Otumfuo. Is Kumawuhemaa with her Ankaase family also the descendants of Barima Tweneboa Kodua? Oh no, wonders will never cease!

John Fosu
