Solomon Asante has vowed to demolish RUS Rabat

Exciting wing-wizard Solomon Asante has vowed to unleash his wizardry instincts on the flanks to orchestrate the defeat of Moroccan side FUS Rabat as TP Mazembe host them in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Black Stars winger has flourished at Mazembe, earning the tag ?le diable?, for his lightening and explosive pace combined with a sadistic appetite of ripping apart even the most well organised defensive system.

Patrice Carteron, the former Mali coach, uses the former Berekum Chelsea man in a specialised role to create confusion within opposition defensive networks as well as to create chances and score vital goals.

?I feel I have a special role to play in this particular game because it is important for us. I will expose their defence and make scoring easier because that is the only way we can qualify for the semis,? he told

?We have a high class team and that?s very evident in the first game in Algeria. Kissi and all the other boys are prepared for the game.?

Mazembe are in search of their first win in the Group B after picking a vital away point from their opening day tie at ES S?tif, scoring first before the Algerians drew level and host the North Africans at the Stade du TP Mazembe on Saturday afternoon.

The DR Congo giants are four time winners of the continent?s flagship club competition ? the Champions League, but were eliminated after crashing to a 3-2 aggregate defeat to South African side Orlando Pirates.

African football pundits have tipped the Lubumbashi plutocrats to win the second-tier club competition as their collection of worth and squad quality are unparalleled by any of their contenders.

With Asante prime to start, defender Kiss Boateng and Yaw Frimpong are also likely starters while Daniel Nii Adjei and Gladson Awako could be used as second half substitutes.
